    I heard there was something you can buy which hooks over the ridge of roof which you attach your harness too when on a ladder working but can't find one, anyone heard of this?

    Need to paint the fascias on this. Was going to try a ladder with standoff in the middle, possibly use scraper off pole. On the right the wood work is set back so best to use roofing ladder or but my ladder to vans wheel?

    Toaster keeps switching off

    When I turn on the toaster it suddenly switches off. Went to electric box and pushed the lever back. Sorry no nothing about electrics. What's wrong? The oven next to toaster doesn't turn on. The clock's working and hob but not main part

    Regarding boots and clothes, I rinse boots afterwards under a tap. But my work clothes I usually just put in cupboard and wear next day. Maybe should wash after using weed killer. Sitting on sofa with young son wearing them might not be a good idea

    Look after a block of flats and there's always weeds on the patio, block paving and this pebble thing they have. The weeds in beds I usually just turnover with a hoe and as they're uprooted hopefully they're just die. Weeds everywhere. It's only one day a week. But don't want this stuff...

    After spilling on garage floor put plastic container in metal bucket with tool to weigh it under. Back to gloves tend to throw mine on dash board to dry before off but reckon if I've been using chemicals (weed killer) etc then best not to as could breath some in

    They're happy with that ? Maybe I should be more like this. I feel pretty comfortable on a ladder up to 2 metres though. From that height on grass or vegetation I doubt u could get that badly hurt
