It's brighter but not significantly. Also One problem with these wilco bulbs is that are fine to the naked eye but they flicker when I am a video call on the computer. Only way to get round it was to reduce the fps on the camera.

Thanks, I can see the wilco ones are not in stock. ordering some from amazon now for delivery tomorrow so will use in uplighter and ceiling . Lets see if this makes a difference.

Got it. However the downlight in the hall way do a perfect job of lighting up the walls, granted not the ceiling. I did purchase an uplighter lamp as mentioned earlier in the thread which lighted up the ceiling but did not do no much for the rest of the room. I remember seeing a halogen...

Some update on what has happened. The CH engineer that the builder sent Installed a new circulator Pump and came to conclusion that the new rads were not installed correctly. The builder has told him to rectify the issue .... which I am assuming would mean abandon plastic pipe work to the tall...

We certainly want to move the boiler. The old kitchen/new Study could potentially double as a spare room if we have guests staying over. I have reached out to one builder so far ..... Are there write-ups about choosing builders, agreeing terms and payments ?......

The pipes are standard 15mm. I was going to put the new pump she bought myself but she said she would rather have the builder's man do it so just incase they blame it on me if it does not work. Hopefully they will turn up tomorrow
