yes im dealing with these boilers and wanted a 2nd opinion. my knowledge of boilers very little and would rather have a 2nd opinion than go flying in chucking parts all over. il have a go at re setting the domi and have a play about. cheers for advice :)

it was a boiler i put in 6 months ago. got a text telling me about the problem. i was going to have a look at the weekend. the house is empty so no major rush... is low pressure swicth simple to take out and clean. would it be easier to buy another one?

just stating that theres 240 at gas valve. i thought maybe the clock would only send the signal intermitently. just getting a few ideas on the table :P

I have a domi compact with f 37 flashing. this is the fault code for low pressure. the system has been topped up to 1.5 bar but still shows f37 - low pressure. the boiler is only 6 months old.

having trouble with an old ideal classic. BF. turn the programmer on the central heating and hot water and the boiler will fire up first time round. after 5-10 mins cuts out and wont fire back up. pump working. system clear or air. when the boiler cuts out it doesnt seem to over heat. even...

main cold to the storage tank expansion was too low and needed raising hot water draw off was leaking ------ sounds like I have paid top price for them. never bought them before, learn from our mistakes

when my freinds gas cooker is turned on it makes a buzzing noise. its quite a new cooker with an electricty supply to the back.

I fitted a cold water storage tank the other day and had a airing cupboard full of lead pipes connected to the cylinder and tank...I had to get hold of 3 leadlocks...2- 3/4-22 and 1 1/2"-15. These came to just under £50. I was considering doing a lead whipe. but never been shown how to do one...

where did this 20% figure come from lol. I think if there is a small amount of crud in a system...20% with the right dosage of inhibiter that '20%' wont effect how a system works

take the push fit off. solder then pop it back on...

there a bit bulky eh. they seems to do a good job and can be worth their weight in gold. alot better to service than a boiler buddy!

With my old company a system flush was depended on how dirty the water inside the system was. so for an old conventional system that was sludged up a good powerflush for 4 hrs using x400 was done. Other systems had x400 put in left to circulate for a few hours on full heat then drained. I...

gave it a flush and its only cut out once since then... I power flushed it with x400...i put x400 in the system ready to drain and manually flush all the rads in a week or so... looking good tho! 8)

they have been complaining of rads not working aswell. sounds like a good flush might be on the cards.

alpha seems to be cutting out and needs re setting every now and again... happens on both hot water and central heating. Iv changed the primary ntc and the overheat stat... the boffins at alpha said change these... they havnt worked so Im scratching my head atm... has any one come across...

check the flue int leaking??? i am sure iv heard that venturi on modenas were prone to nakkering up..ended up crumbling. italian crap 8)

no heating is fine... only happens on hot water!

when opening the hot tap the boiler fires up ok then after 10 seconds it cuts out When the case that coveres the combustoin chamber fan etc is taken off the boiler seems to work fine. hot water fires up to right temp and stays on... I checked the two hoses that come off the fan to see if...
