Why cant you just use plastic guttering? Designers/architects are great at specifying expensive things for someone else to pay for and it all adds up when they charge their pecentage based fee. Thats just my own personal experience.

I'm fitting a resin shower tray in a funny shaped alcove and need to lay a few tiles on the floor to fill the space behind the tray. I've got Wickes adhesive and grout which says its waterproof but is it good enough to seal a shower floor? Any advice please?

Thanks for your reply Mike. The washing machine actually discharges from it's standpipe trap through 6 feet of pipe which is connected onto the bath trap (which is shallow) so it goes through the bath trap then out to the gully. Would that still empty the trap?

I painted a unibond mix on followed by scratch then top coat. It looks ok and nothings fallen off yet! :lol:
