    Hi Wonder if anyone can give me some advice? A switch on the main electrics board in my house for the downstairs lighting circuit keeps tripping - this switch being one of maybe eight which presumably are for other circuits. Not really sure what the official word for these switches is...

    'Low-tac' masking tape

    When i had this problem I put newspaper strips on about three quarters of the masking tape, which reduced the area stuck to the wall but leaves enough of the adhesive side to hold it up. This reduced the amount being pulled off significantly, but there were still small areas that I had to touch up.
