I've solved it now. I think I had a short within the panel. It tripped the fuse protecting the 13v supply.

Can I put the red and black into a strip connector then put my meter across the appropriate terminals in the sensor? That should give me continuity right?

I did wire the sensors to the the 13v and 0v terminal but doesn't light up when I wave at the sensor. Is there a cheap piece of kit I can check which sensors I have wired in and which I haven't? I have a multimeter but the leads are not long enough

I can't seem to get the sensors to light up. Do the sensors need the zone wiring to be connected before they light up when you walk pass?

Is it possible for me to wire the two keypads directly to the panel ? It makes more sense because the panel happens to be on the 2nd floor and more or less in-line with the panel.

I have a circuit already built which I would like to intergrate into the bell box. Am I correct in saying the bell trigger wire doesn't carry any voltage until the alarm is set off? If not how does it work?
