So... I would run the live feed from a current light into the switch and then run a wire from the switch to the batten light?

How many lumens for a batten loft light?

Oh thats interesting. How would it work with a normal single pole switch? As I was planning to run the live from a recent light pendent to the double pole light switch, to the light and then from there run to the other light.

How many lumens for a batten loft light?

Thanks, seems like I would need two of the batten, Amazon seem to have some good deals. Is it OK to use a double pole switch instead of running a switch wire? I just seem to think this uses more wire then needed?

Can I used wireless for a pump overrun cable?

Understood. Whats your view of using the Baxi 800 Heat Only instead of the Intergas, Baxi claim you don't need a pump over run?

Can I used wireless for a pump overrun cable?

Yep, that's what I need, a permanent live for the pump over run. It was just that I wanted to spur off the switched live as well as permanent live and neutral.

Can I used wireless for a pump overrun cable?

Oh this was recommended by the manufacture. Isn't this the same as using a 3 core, the earth would be re-wired on both ends and re sleeved.

Can I used wireless for a pump overrun cable?

So I am thinking of repurposing the earth cable as a switched live and re-sleeve the earth cable. I have a cooker hood near by and use the earth cable from the hood to connect to the earth of the boiler. However, the fused spur I have only for three wires, it is possible to have a switched...

Can I used wireless for a pump overrun cable?

I am having an Intergas HRE OV 18 installed, however, noticed I need a permanent live (pump over run cable), at present I only have a three core cable which has a switched live, neutral and a earth. I heard someone mention about using a wireless RF module which would work instead of running...

Is it better to cycle a boiler at low modulation rate with a controller than without?

Hello, I am looking for a new boiler as current boiler has gone faulty (leaking heat exchange) and will be installing a load compensation controllers. The property I live in has a Heat Loss of 3.5-4 KW. I am looking at a Intergas HRE 18 OV which has a low modulation rate of 6.10, nearly double...

    Recommended OpenTherm 'stat for Intergas

Just so I understand correctly. I can use OpenTherm with a heat only boiler as long as I get one which support three channels as I have two zones and HW, is this correct? As I want full power on HW and modulation on CH
