Just a Random guess but are all key working properly for example if your code was 1234 is the keypad only getting 234 and you start again so it’s getting 2341 etc

Will be in settings to unset using a user code think they put this on for monitored alarms shops etc to stop faults alarms

So does all 4 need to be crossed to trip alarm

I have a texecom house alarm so reading instructions this one has a double knock (the beams are fixed about 2feet from back fence going across the garden )so if anyone came over fence and then went to go back it would trip. My other thing is they are under 3 large trees so my other question is...

Ok so installed outdoor beams connected to an old alarm with bell on outside,all working but had two alarms already birds etc It’s connected to a optima plus two I also have an old galaxy g2-20 Am I correct in reading somewhere that this as a double knock which allows the zone to be triggered...

Ok so got some beams for back garden yesterday I connected them to an old alarm to test (they work great ) is there anything on the market Small with a buzzer of some sort Can supply 12v That I could wire say upstairs so could hear at night thanks

Ye can disconnect from the panel but will have to loop out or set as not used not sure with the system u use

Do you have other pirs ? Do they light up ? does the light only show up when you enter your code is there any other lights

Sounds like getting no power to it Try omitting that zone to see if the alarm sets to see if there are more problems

I’ve had the system for bout 3yrs panel 20quid 10smokes about 15 quid already had some sounders and call point and some cable all in all 60quid so wasn’t that much really was asking originally with alarm cable because the cable is already in place
