    Damp showing in Chimney breast

Thanks for your response, we did have remedial works, to the enclave of the left side of the chimney breast, a couple of the joists had rotted, due the outside grounds being higher than the dpc. This has now been resolved, ground works lowered below the dpc, and poured some concrete to prevent...

The wall used to be covered with wallpaper, and a few months ago, I stripped the wallpaper and had the wall re-skimmed. Ever since I had the chimney breast re-skimmed, I’ve noticed...

Heatrae Sadia Megaflo - small popping noise, when hot water is drawn

I've tried to see, if I can replicate the noise, by running all the taps, both hot and cold and flushing the w/c - no noise this time, however its does not happen all the time, its more prevalent at night time. The noise is like a metallic pop noise, which sounded like the issue I had...

The cylinder is a warranty replacement from Baxi, as the original cylinder was making a popping noise - when the boiler was heating the water, however that cylinder did not make the noise I’m experiencing now (pop noise coming from the cylinder after drawing hot water for a min or two) - The...

They still need to measure the pressure at the mains, I will chase up on that, however pressure at my external tap is 3.5 bar. I'm glad they have changed the communication pipe over to 25mm though. :D

    Thames Water woes

I should perhaps be more clearer 1. communication pipe is 22mm black poly 2. within the boundary of my property, its 25mm blue poly 3. 22mm copper, however there is some 22mm Hep20 piping, which then leads to 22mm copper thats connected to the balanced cold (3 bar)
