my worry or concern is where do put in a junction box for connection the the t&e cables ideally I would have preferred the grey stuff. there is little room for maneuver at the back of the box with the wires in a 35mm box

Thanks ~~that's the offending pic your correct Taylor The cables were fed from below and sockets are horizontally across and just above the skirting Aargh, the only reason I chased was because the trucking that was used had started to peal away and sag did not look good around the room in...

My other concern to this is I did use gripfill while I was of the mind to cap the cables The grip fill went all over the cables and subsequently dried Am concerned about the adhesive leeching into the pvc cables over time after I've plaster over them Should I be worried

    Wall chase

Well I was very concerned as the morta is packed in tight without any room for the cables so I thought if I add plaster onto them it will not allow room for contractions of the cables Right so onwards with mucking them in places after I clip them Just need to replace the nails in the clips...

    Wall chase

The cables were already set to feed into the kitchen which was done up but the ones am chasing were in the sitting room in trunking The wall is one brick and the cables are two 10mm and some smaller ones I think 4mm As I said cappjng would make it difficult over a conduit feeding into sockets...

Hi I Chased a wall top of the ceiling and on the corner While chasing I found out that hole drilled to pass the cables the brick around it was crumbling and loose I then proceded to fill the area around the cables with morta to stabilise the bricks But now am thinking this is not the best...
