Yeh there are more gaps at the seams than i would like, and i could only think of silicone to seal (i used clear) it prob isnt helping with the slippiness to be honest

If the existing plaster is unsound, will it cause issues or wont it matter because it is screwed into the joists?

Cheers, ill give local tradesman a call after work since not many on checkatrade seem interested! I guess wanting the old plaster removing (it is so old i dont trust it for over-boarding) is pushing the price up, but i thought a ceiling was a day or maybe a day and a half work for a plasterer.

Yeh i do the same, but sometimes wish i didnt have outlook/teams on my phone!

As i said if it works for you! then why not :) My director sends himself emails as reminders too. Which is why he currently has a 68gb outlook mailbox and refuses to let me delete stuff.. i had to change his licence to allow a new 100gb limit!

If it works for you then why not? Just curious why you dont use reminders in the outlook calender?

I am going to first say what i always say when i have my IT support hat on - have you tried turning it on and off again :) Can you also try moving the files in small batches, rather than in one big go? If those two fail i would try updating usb/device drivers.

A works colleague has rat issues as she has a stream just off her property and bird feeders. They have cages and drown them - which i was quite shocked at to be honest! but she insists it is more humane than poison.
