35 CDI Greenstar EA error after low pressure

Thanks for the feedback we definitely have good gas pressure as the gas hob is working fine regarding the flap sticking how would the low pressure issue have caused the bearing flap to stick ? I was thinking more of a pump issue due to running dry ? I can hear/feel the pump start to spin and the...

35 CDI Greenstar EA error after low pressure

Hi Guys Hoping someone might be able to help, went away for a few weeks and the the boiler pressure dropped below 1 and a lot of air got into the system, I’ve repressurised it back to 2 bar and bled all the air out of the Radiators which had a lot of air in. But I was still getting an EA error...

    Nest 3 wiring onto Worcester 35CDI ?

So I’ve been reading and I think I’ve got it, I’ve measured the voltage across A and B on the BDR91 and it’s 8v which means I have a low voltage switch. So from using the BDR91 as an example I would connect the existing connections to the Nest as so: L->L N-N Shared Live -> 2 on Nest B -> 3...

    Nest 3 wiring onto Worcester 35CDI ?

I should probably add that I think the hot water is permanently set to on, it’s a combi boiler and we just have hot water on demand, no heater tank or anything it comes straight out of the 35 CDI to the tap if that makes sense :)

Hi Guys I was hoping someone might be able to help me work out which wires go where ? The boiler current has a Honeywell CM927 thermostat with only 5 wires one being a shared live so really only 4 wires as shown in the pictures, N L L and then ABC can anyone advise where these go on the Nest...

    Worcester 28i RSF - Tap Sensor ?

I guess I was hoping someone on this forum could advise ? I appreciate a boiler engineer could help but what’s the point in joining an internet forum if people just advise I call the engineer ? I’m much fonder of trying to fix this myself plus I’d learn something new along the way :) last time I...

    Worcester 28i RSF - Tap Sensor ?

Any idea which component in the boiler might have failed or has the turbine sensor ? I replaced the motherboard on it a few years ago when a relay failed, so I’m happy to work on it as there are plenty of spare parts on EBay :)

    Worcester 28i RSF - Tap Sensor ?

The shower is just a simple hot tap and cold tap ( no mixer ) with a pipe that runs off to a shower head , I have the same issue with the sink in the same bathroom..infact yesterday I had the hose on in the back garden and it was impossible to get the hot water on as the drop in pressure to the...

    Worcester 28i RSF - Tap Sensor ?

Thanks for reply Yes the boiler fires up as soon as the hot tap in the shower is turned on but sometimes not always it switches off half way through...I can fix it by running the sink hot tap slightly and this fires the boiler back up again..it’s only started doing it recently with no changes...

    Worcester 28i RSF - Tap Sensor ?

Hi chaps Really hope someone can help? My boiler seems to work fine apart from when I’m using the hot tap in the bathroom which is furthest from the boiler pipe wise in the house, sometimes half way through a shower the boiler switches off, but if I then turn on the hot tap in the sink ( next...

Hi Guys I live in a old Georgian building and need to drill a 7" - 8" whole for our cats to use to get from our hallway into the celler where there cat litter is. What's the best way of doing this ? I have a big SDS drill and have looked into hole saws but there not cheap and most don't...

Garden lighting - Prep work ?

hehe not sure they are really, these ones look like they have been there quite a while and there are barely any left, so it looks like a potentially discontinued item... Anyone know if I can extend the low voltage section of this cabling by an extra 5 meters without causing issues ? I've...
