IKEA Rengora dishwasher - not draining at end of cycle

Thanks. How would you tell if that was the issue? Would it not always start?

Can you replace an integrated dishwasher with 'normal' dishwasher

Stand alone dishwashers tend to be cheaper than integrated, so maybe if the OP is not fussed over the look of the door, then it is a case of why pay more. OP have you measured the space? Is the existing washer inside a carcass or is there end panels that could be removed?

IKEA Rengora dishwasher - not draining at end of cycle

Still the same, unfortunately. Strange thing is if I simply press the power button off and on again, for when it stops during the drain cycle of the main wash, it carries on where it left off, and completes the drain, though it may stop again several minutes later when the rinse tries to empty.

IKEA Rengora dishwasher - not draining at end of cycle

Opened it up. No blockages, drain pump looks fine and clean tested resistance anyway 243 ohms so about what is expected. There is a rubber seal to stop return which looked fine but washed with washing up liquid in case any residue. The red tape was what I put on to identify which of the two...

IKEA Rengora dishwasher - not draining at end of cycle

Been using it a while (4yrs) but just installed a new washing machine. (Correction) This is a recent issue, though it occasionally happened, but now it's every wash cycle. The only recent thing is had to move the dishwasher out to install washer due to limited space, but no need to change...

IKEA Rengora dishwasher - not draining at end of cycle

Hi, yes the wash cycle is hot, prewash cold. There was no debris in the hose as my wife likes to prewash by hand (sort of defeats part of the object of having a dishwasher). Would the height or length of the waste hose be an issue. Due to location it has a 2m extension on to get to the under...

Hi, hoping for some suggestions, Our dishwasher is not draining waste water at end of cycle, or not when needed! It's a Rengora from Ikea, so an electrolux, and at the end of a cycle it has waste water in the bottom and beeps twice intermittently. The trouble shooting says that it means a...

Helical bar for lintel - 6mm or 8mm?

So it's the one supplier doing the 10m coils? I used permagard, a kit for £90 plus got some 3m lengths for Window. The 7m only comes in 5 pack which is £132 so might consider the 10m coil as I would have only needed 2 lengths. Still have enough resin from first job.

Helical bar for lintel - 6mm or 8mm?

Helical bars are used for remedial crack stitching as opposed to removing bricks and feathering back in. There is no concrete Lintel to disturb its the external brickwork, the bars go in the mortar joints. Cracks occur as uPVC does not give same support as original wooden windows Got further...

Helical bar for lintel - 6mm or 8mm?

Hi, Trying to determine whether I should use 6mm or 8mm bars to create a lintel repair above a patio door. I had thought 8mm, but since read that thicker isn't always better for crack stitching because of flexibility. The house I bought 4 years ago has two cracks at the back, one stepped crack...

    window lintel

The house is a 1920's built (EPC says cavity, but I'm sure its solid walls) house, and the EA says it would be around £200 or so to fix. It is really a case of seeing the options, so I know what I want to go for. I have seen houses where they put new brick in and it stands out like a sore thumb

    Slowwwwwwwwww....

Whilst it won't solve the cause, have you thought about putting PC in standby overnight? Does mean its not fully shutting down and will start up quicker, unless its going to be several days between use, you don't need to turn it fully off.

    window lintel

Looking at a house to buy and one fault that I need to consider is that the bricks above the window have dropped slightly No cracks or anything on the inside, so wondering if its a straight forward job. Might be a case of getting a builder in, but wondering if its likely to be just...
