What sizes do lintels come in? I need to replace two lintels one is in the internal leaf of the external rear wall and the other is an old wood lintel that spans both leaves of the external wall. Pre cast concrete I suppose is easiest to get a hold of but what size 6"x 4"? Cheers

How would you connect the new timber joist to existing rear bearing floor joist once the damaged material has been removed? The joists are 7"x"2", Would you use coach bolts or screws? 10mm, 12mm or what? Cheers
