I ahve checked on the internet that the Landis & Gyr MAV-322 is replaceable with siemens 322. But is this something that we can do ourselves..keep in mind we have never done anything in plumbing other than fitting a drain for a dishwasher from an existing drain line.

Is it possible to change just the motor or the actuator itself without the help of a professional or if we leave it as it is what would go wrong..changing it manually to?B everytime

Hi there We have now located the lever.The lever first seemed to have no tension and was moving freely. there are 2 positions marked one is Man and another one Open. Also there are 2 positions marked for the indicator A and B . The label says A is for Radiators and B is for Cylinder. But...

Could you also confirm where the lever is...is it the one attached to a spring and in black (plastic) ?

yes i have one valve like the first image and like i said before the radiator nearest to the tank and the pump is heated only when the boiler is working for hot water and the boiler fires up only when a lot of hot water is used... we switched on the hot water and the central heating only a week...

The radiators are not heated at all...i mean the boiler fires up only for the hot water but not for radiator heating

It is a gas boiler. When we use a lot of hot water the boiler fires up to refill the hot water tank

We have Potterton boiler with a hot water and cold water tank in the bathroom airing cupboard and an expansion tank in the loft. There is a pump connected to the boiler. The pump is a Wilo Gold 50 pump. which takes water to the radiators. i think the hot water is not thru pump it comes directly...
