thanks, are storm drains the normal rain water ones for the house? if so i think that will be hard as the garden slopes away from the house, id have to get the water BACK from the bottom of the garden :-( and for the soakaway ill have to dig down to break through the clay layer right...

hi in the summer (after conservatory built im going to slab most of the garden, with some raised brick planters around. Whats the best way allow for rain water drainage... runoff. I know about sloping the paving, but if i slope it, surely all the water will runn off the nextdoors garden?

hi , i just want to add my experience, as i just had a worcester 37CDi installed (2 weeks now on a 3 bed house with micro bore pipes). It was replacing a Hot water cylinder (boiler mate II) system and older, smaller, wall boiler. It makes hardly ANY sound, and im someone who is 'noise'...

actually he gave me the load per square foot a loft floor is designed for. He explained how its designed to take into account for wind and snow loadings, point and UDL loads, so its 'designed' for alot more than just the ceiling Which is more useful, if not for more than curiosity, than...

hi just part boarded my loft, with 2.4x0.6m chip board flooring 18mm thick, got BnQ to cut em in half as they were a bit big, screwed down My roof trusses are only 80mm ones and @ 600mm centres. how much weight can i store up there, truss rafters seem teeny when compaired to the floor...
