    Conservatory Kitchen, building regulations

cheers richard. I live on the east side of Norwich City, off Plumstead Road. I'm looking at doing my own footings with the help of my bro in-law and would be confident with the kitchen install. Any recommended builders in the area would be great so I could get some quotes in.

    Conservatory Kitchen, building regulations

Well thanks for all your views on this matter. It has been a learning curve at least. I got a letter from my solicitor yesterday informing me that the seller was not prepared to sort out these matters and advised me to pull out of the purchase. As a solictor he requires a "certificate of title"...

As mentioned I would do the footings myself so would hope to save some money by doing jobs seperatley. maybe even a seperate brickie and roofer, etc.. I know my bro-in law saved heaps doing it this way on his three storey extension. Although Shytalkz estimate of £20/25K all in seems reasonable.

well im afraid I'll have to sit on the fence on that one. I'm from the Northwest originally so no comment. I helped my brother in law with his footings and foundation to his three storey extension a few years back so I would be pretty confident doing the same here, with him. That...

    Conservatory Kitchen, building regulations

His HIP was completed before the new HIP came into place. I've done a bit more scanning on other forums on this situation and found conflicting arguments. The main jist I'm getting from all this is this: a) Since the conservatory build was built soley for use as a conservatory and no...

The conservatory was built and regulated by the builders. This was before A kitchen was installed. There is no drainage/pipes under the build.

    Conservatory Kitchen, building regulations

Thanks for your replies to this. Seems like the issue has raised mixed responses. Should be fine / dont touch it. I've got my solicitor on the case who hopefully will be asking all the relevant questions and request what paperwork is needed. cheers.

    Conservatory Kitchen, building regulations

I'm in the process of moving house and the new house has recently had a conservatory built professionally along the width of the house back. The owner assures me that the conservatory does not require planning permission due to its size and glass percentage. I'm ok with this but since the build...
