that is so true.ive uncovered some horrific electrical work more times than i can remember,that people have paid bundles to much for. not to mentioned the ruined spreading and decs when i have to put it right

well thats 3 of us saying the same thing.cavity box it is then :D unless your fitting lots of them in a small space.then its a bit rough imho. then noggins will be required

im not sure what you mean by 3 by 2.(blonde moment)? can you put a noggin in there and fix the box to that? or maybe a cavity box

if your in your first week,you wont be needing the meter in your link. get the fluke t5 1000 RF showed you.this is a superb tester that wont break the bank.can be found in many,many sparks toolboxes(including my own) dont try and save money on something you have to trust your life with
