    Window without a catch/latch?!

Hi guys, Hope you can help a clueless person out! The bathroom window in my partners house opens inwards but doesn't have a catch/latch fitted, so it is a pain trying to keep it open, because we need to stick something on the window sill to keep it slightly open, but not too much...

Hello, I really hope someone can offer some advice/suggestions here... I have a British Gas boiler fitted, it was installed a few months prior to us buying the house (it says so on the casing - 2004) but no manual was left for us. Anyway, we have never had any problems with it (besides the...

    Condensation - Extractor or Dehumidifier?

Hi, Just a quick question - has anyone used the Myhammer website? I put an ad on there and have been quoted £80 for the job, do you think that this is reasonable? Many thanks.

    Condensation - Extractor or Dehumidifier?

Hello, Hope this is the correct place for posting! Our bathroom has absolutely no ventilation (we have a window but it opens inwards and neighbours can see inside when we have it open) and as a result is full of mould all over the walls. We tried cleaning and wiping everywhere over with...

    Push catches?

So I don't need new snappy hinges for these Screwfix ones to work?? :? They do swing freely, just sometimes they're a bit stiff to close where they stick a bit but like we said earlier, I can just plane a bit off in the problem area can't I? Thanks :D

    Push catches?

Are you referring to these? If so, will these work on big cupboards (not little kitchen cabinets)? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/70134242

    Push catches?

Thanks. Do you know if the Ikea ones will solve this problem? I.e. so I can take the handles off and they will press to open?

    Push catches?

Hello, Hope someone can help (as me = clueless  ) Anyway, I have been advised to get some push catches for some hideous built in cupboards in my bedroom to minimise the fact that they are cupboards (as they are asymmetrical) but I don't really know which ones to choose, or how to...
