how do u get a job with transco ?

i rang a local plumber that advertised he dealt with my boiler (vokera) and he told me over the phone exactly what to do, get yellow pages out! its worth a try (with the same problem)

i know why he wants tyo charge this much, its coz hes done work for me before and he knows i don't really know much about what he does! thats why. cheers breezer

sorry, i obviously didnt make myself clear, i do apologise... the emersion heater exists aswell as a combi boiler, you see the house we have bought used to be two flats. the upstairs has combi boiler and radiators and the downstairs has an emersion heater and two gas fires, i am going to extend...

hideeho peeps! Would anyone like to tell me exactly how to remove an emersion heater, it is still connected to the water aqnd electricity supply. We are having radiators that link with our combi so we dont want this heater any longer. However I have absolutely no idea how to even attempt this...

im new to the d.i.y thing so if this seems a stupid question i apologise in advance but can someone give me advice on plastering, a good book, pdf file, website, something with all aspects and circumstnces that can show me what to do and why each stage is important, thanks muchly to any info...

WELL, the boiler itself is in a cupboard and the electrics are fairly new, the room in question (that is gonna be the shower room) used to be a kitchen so the electrics shoud be fine in these surroundings shouldnt they ? :oops:

Hi all, I just moved into my new house, theres a small vent in the chimney breast in the bedroom, where a gas fire used to be, can this be closed or should I leave iit open, coz the draft is terrible! :lol: cheers Gaz TFA :shock:
