I have just tried again and when i put the adaptor on and tighten up the whole unit just rotates as if it is not tight, am i missing a part or do i need a better way of connecting . Thanks

Hi, i have purchased a new valve and i find that when i fit the adapter over the 10mm pipe and tighten up the whole unit seem s to spin as if it is not tight enough , is there a better way of doing this . Thanks

Just done that, and i now have the radiator off. I am going to take the two valves off and take them to plumbase to make sure i have the correct ones . There seems to be a adapter that goes from 10mm to 15mm. I am also going to get some inhibitor . Thanks

How do i take the radiator of the wall if i cannot drain it. If i undo the valves which i need to do to take the rad of i will get still have the problem of water coming out.

Seem to have a rough idea through the info, however if the bathroom rad as a dodgy valve which it seems to have ,is the procedure the same. I would have to change both valves is it just a straight forward lockshield valve and a valve with a control on.
