Thanks Pete I could try what you say but at the risk of creating a leak. How big a risk would that be as I cannot turn the tap off and drain the radiator.
I have a Caleffi thermostatic radiator valve which is stuck open giving a rather hot radiator. Canit be fixed in sittue or would I have to remove the whole valve.
