I have a Caleffi thermostatic radiator valve which is stuck open giving a rather hot radiator. Canit be fixed in sittue or would I have to remove the whole valve.

If its stuck in the open position, gently push down on the pin and try to free it off that way. If it works then refit the head and test it.
On the downside, it may well leak from around the pin, and in that case its a new valve.

Thanks Pete I could try what you say but at the risk of creating a leak. How big a risk would that be as I cannot turn the tap off and drain the radiator.
