pipes up to the rad are not hot, of course all of the ones that are working are hot. any suggestions? did i bleed them right? cheers

there is a on/off switch with different settings on ie. 1,2,3 for different temperatures, this is on and set to number 3 the highest. on the other end there is a tap which is set to on, and on this tap there is the ability to bleed the radiators.

hi everyone, ok so i've got two radiadors in my house that have stopped working, not getting hot. they worked previously until about 2 weeks ago. i've have checked the switches and they're on, i've tried bleeding them, by this i mean turned the tap on the side until they started to run...

ok i'll explain it in simple terms..........when i turn the CH on the radiators get hot and stay on permenently. they will stay on until i then go to the CH control and turn it off. this is what it's been like for over two years without a problem. now all of a sudden i turn it on as normal...

ok done all of that noe probs, but it switched itself off again so there is def a fault!!!!!! it shouldn't turn off by itself, never has done before and shouldn't now!!!!!!!

yes it will fill a bath, no probs with the hot water, the pipes and rads are still warm when it comes back to life, are there any checks or system run throughs i can do?

yes it will fill a bath, as i said no problems with the hot water at all, the radiators just switch off when they shouldn't and didn't used too.

no room stat, so it's not that, the problem is that the radiators are supposed to stay on until i shut them off, as they did a week ago, but now they turn themselves off when they shouldn't

what is rs? what is a sludge problem? and what is microbore? sorry i'm useless. all of the radiators get hot, and i've been using it sometimes over the summer, because it's good old britain, so it's not been sat still. any actions that i can carry out to see whats what?? cheers

the boiler has been fine unitl about a week ago. it's up to me to maintain the boiler, long story short i get dirt cheap rent, as it's a family friend, so i'm sure it's just a case of adjusting something simple as it kinda works, cheers

it's not my boiler!! :-) yeah the radiators do get hot, and the pressure is just below 2, as the manual suggests, thanks for the quick reply!!!
