If no RS then feel pipes to the rads and the rads themselves and see how much they have cooled before the boiler comes back on again.

Here in London its 13.1° outside and 20.7° indoors and the CH is off. ( I am green and mean! ) Its also 1021 mB as well !

I suppose a too great hysterisis could be caused by a scaled up CH NTC. Or even an NS PCB.

yes it will fill a bath, as i said no problems with the hot water at all, the radiators just switch off when they shouldn't and didn't used too.

so is the pipework microbore ?

Remove all the thermostatic radiator valve heads.

can you press the pins within the valves down & do they spring up again ?

if all ok, leave the heads off & test the heating operation.

I am still not totally convinced that there is a fault!

To be definitive you would need to measure the flow and return temperatures at the boiler and see what they read when the boiler repowers.

ok done all of that noe probs, but it switched itself off again so there is def a fault!!!!!! it shouldn't turn off by itself, never has done before and shouldn't now!!!!!!!

no room stat, so it's not that, the problem is that the radiators are supposed to stay on until i shut them off, as they did a week ago, but now they turn themselves off when they shouldn't

Have you had a drink? What do you mean "when i shut them off"? Your not being very clear on the exact problem.

ok i'll explain it in simple terms..........when i turn the CH on the radiators get hot and stay on permenently. they will stay on until i then go to the CH control and turn it off. this is what it's been like for over two years without a problem. now all of a sudden i turn it on as normal and it works as normal until for no reson at all it turms itself off. the radiators start to become cool. i try to turn the CH back on as normal but it doesn't work. 30 mins later it turns on again but repeats the explained process as above. i've changed nothing., the pressure is fine, checked it the rads are fine, checked them..... so there is no explaination and the house is cold as it doesn't heat up!!!! HELP!!!
