wicke gas combi boiler 102 keeps shutting down

we have a wickes combi boiler 102, the system has worked fine for 2 years no problems and no replacement parts have been fitted , during the use of hot water or hot water and central heating the boiler on occasions locks out with a red light showing. after re setting the boiler things work fine for some times a day sometimes hours and it locks out again, the pump is running and the fan is working ok any body got any ideas

I think that I can guess what the problem is but its associated with the combustion related components.

In this case I cannot give you detailed advice on fixing it for safety reasons.

I would suggest that you call a CORGI engineer to repair it.

In our local area, if its what I expect, then we would charge £88 inc. but it could be something more serious like a sticking gas valve which would make the repair cost about £200.
