I've attached a pic of it all below. Since I posted this yesterday hob was used a couple of times with no issue yesterday afternoon/evening but then went to use it again half an hour ago and it tripped again. Flicked power back on and it worked fine.

New Plug In Induction Hob Tripping Electrics Occasionally

Hi all, we had our gas hob removed months ago and finally just got round to putting an induction hob in. Its a normal 4 ring induction but one of these newer 13amp ones with a moulded plug on. In the kitchen we have a fused cooker switch on the wall which feeds a 2 gang socket in the cupboard...

    Best Connection for Hose Tail

Having just taken it apart, looks like i was on auto pilot when fitting it and wrapped the barb in ptfe tape. Im now thinking this is one of the few connections where its better not to use it and was probably causing less grip with the barbs and allowing the water past?

    Trial Pit Size?

Im having drawings done for an extension and have been asked to expose existing foundations. Side of our house is covered in 6 inch concrete and im just working my way through it now but a right pain in the behind. I assume it just needs to be big enough to get a spade in at an angle? Im...

Morning All, I'm looking to move my shed across the garden by about 5 metres or so so will also need to extend the existing SWA cable so that it can reach. Currently the SWA cable is connected to the internal fuse box in the house, goes under the garden, pops up into the shed and has its own...

Veritas Excel - Disabling Alarm Whilst Doing Some Work

Ok thanks. Would my way also work? Taking the box of the wall will give me more room and I'm assuming disconnecting mains power and battery will leave no power for the siren to ring? Or is there still a way the bellbox can sound due to a disconnection? If the latter then I will need to enter...

Veritas Excel - Disabling Alarm Whilst Doing Some Work

Hi All, My Veritas Excel alarm panel is in a cupboard where I need to carry out some work and it would help if I could temporarily take it off the wall. Bathroom Extractor Fan Switches

Ok, I get you. I'll just have to give it a try then once I install the new one. Just out of interest though, should I ever want to remove the switched live from the 4 gang, I assume the other end is terminated somewhere on the fan itself (same for the isolator switch)

    Bathroom Extractor Fan Switches

But will the fan still get the power? Im under the impression that the fan needs to have that switch turned on for it to work in its current setup? I want to remove both ends of that connection completely so the only on/off is the isolator
