From the pics is this a damp issue? The walls are not wet. I have done a visual outside and cannot see any breach in the tiles/roof. Thank you. Please, no sarcastic replies I am looking for genuine responses from those who know their stuff.
Personally I would get rid and besides if thats what you are thinking of doing and you end up not doing it then you will regret it, trust me! Good Luck
I am moving and want to paint my Bungalow. It is semi-detached and the outer material is pebble dashed. When it comes to where my build joins next door what is the best way to keep the paint from going on to next doors as the wall is 'bumpy' being pebble dashed? Would masking tape be the thing...
How can I secure these while cutting? They are moving/sliding even though I have placed them between two heavy slabs. Also is a Hacksaw the tool to use? I do not have any metal cutters.
I have bought a small Angle Grinder to do a couple of jobs. The cutting discs I have purchased are 115 x 1.0 x 22. When attached there is play and the Disc is wobbly. The Instruction manual does not say anything about Disc size but I know 115mm is correct and 22mm bore is correct but I was...
I am having a Bathroom refit at my new address and am looking for information/advice on using Formica Laminate Boards as opposed to Traditional Tiling. Any information good, but especially the bad (or why I shouldn't) appreciated.

Hello, I am supposed to give my Insurance Company the cost of re-building my one bedroom Bungalow. How can I find this out? Or is there anyone on this site who could help? I know the purchase price is different to the cost of rebuilding but as a guide it was £165k. Any help appreciated.
Hello, Is it possible ( to reduce costs mainly) to lay new slabs on existing patio? Using the existing slabs as a base would mean less labour, not having to dispose of old slabs and of course not having to buy tons of mix for new base. Of course it would be inches higher but that would not be an...
Very sorry to tell you this but we had the same issue and yes it does stain. You will not get it off. It's a bugger if you get in on anything. Our black slate slabs were really spoilt by this.
Hello, Not much money so was thinking about ' painting ' the paving slabs at my new address rather than replace. Obviously I would use Masonry paint. I know its something that can be done, but was wondering if anyone on this site has ever done this and if so any tips or advice?
