That’s the Confirm devices screen. Should be reading RKP 1... EXP 1.... your just confirming that you agree with what the system is seeing on its data network. If this is ok escape from that menu and move on to other programming

Make sure the commissioning link is in commissioning mode (far right of Panel PCB). If not maybe power the panel down and start again.

    Hik-Connect

Anyone know how to get a thumbnail image of a notification in the messages part of Hik-Connect? I get a bell icon displayed on events from the NVR. I have a separately connected Hikvision doorbell which was displaying a snapshot image but is now a bell icon.

Pyronix Enforcer V10 - parts and design questions

Fit a seperate WIRED Keypad in the Hall, and keep the main panel elsewhere. The keypads look nicer too & come in different finishes including flush mount.

Cant learn PIRs to Texecom expander

I would default the expander, which I think is done by going into engineer utility’s > Ricochet diagnostics > press reset and it should say “press YES to default expander” then leave the lid off for 20mins then try again. Press learn button before putting in battery in, keep pressed until the...

Texecom Alarm System Installation In Home & Garage

The kits tend to be for the wireless/hybrid ranges so you’ll have to buy separately. Texecom is great and loads of support can be found on this forum. If your building a fairly large system make sure you install an additional power supply to cover the load. An Elmdene boxed 12v PSU will do or...

Texecom Alarm System Installation In Home & Garage

Yes it’s possible by using “areas” Just put house devices in Area A and Garage devices (inc keypads) in Area B. The system will then work as if they were two tottaly independent systems. Areas are not to be confused with part sets, these are used within areas for things like a night set (landing...

The PW-W is a QD you just remove the pulse count link to make it a QD or fit it to make it a PW. (Newer ones have a sticker on the back stating this)

How to reset tamper light on Veritas keypad

Is this the cause of your tamper fault I wonder? To disconnect properly you need to identify the cable for this keypad in the main control panel and unwire it, hopefully the cables are marked up but if not you’ll have to guess which keypad is which and disconnect the correct one.

How to reset tamper light on Veritas keypad

Yeah sounds like the Tamper fault is on one of the circuits not the lid then. Most likely a damaged cable somewhere but it could be as simple as a dislodged cover on a sensor or keypad. Worth having a check around first.

Going wireless on Texecom - reliability

Texecom Wireless is very good, never going to be as good as hardwired but it’s not far off!

How to reset tamper light on Veritas keypad

Have you pressed “reset” after the code? If tamper is still not clearing then there is a fault and it needs to be resolved before the light will go out. Could be the Control Panel lid is not on property after the battery change. Failing that your going to need a multimeter and take apart the...

Pyronix enforcer changing the sim due to intermittent line fault without the engineers code

Tamper enginner Reset may have been enabled but you won’t know until you cause a Tamper. I would suspect it’s not been enabled. Powering down will not erase the memory.
