    Fitted wardrobes?

I would add that there was a lot of strengthening work done to the standard units before they were built in, absolutely no sag etc and when you tap any of it it it's got that solid sound rather than a standard Billy which frankly is a bit crap!

    Fitted wardrobes?

I extended my Billy's with the standard extensions, by total luck (as seen in the pics) the wall space available lent itself to the Billy dimensions perfectly.

Supplier want's to deliver saturated shed, should that be acceptable ?

If you really want a good shed then build it yourself, it won't cost much more but will be superior if done well. And actually it takes probably no more skill than is involved in throwing up a pre-built one. Though probably needs a couple of tools

    Fitted wardrobes?

Look up Ikea hacks on google etc, it's a great way for the DIYer to achieve professional results if you've an eye for detail. This cost me £800 but I did have access to a reasonable set of cheap tools and a garage for all the timber work, took me a while too because I'm quite slow. Hate to...

I know but you asked how it would normally be done, normally a worktop of the right size would be used.

    Oak Pillars

If going for a brick pier I would have stuck a little coping on top, with your metal bracket poking up through a hole in the centre, always looks better with a coping IMO.

Which way should these doors be hinged?

Or a single door with two full height sidelights. Or a single door and bigger windows - and gives more floor space for wellies etc, if that's the point of this porch.

Which way should these doors be hinged?

It begs the question why a double door is necessary?

Which way should these doors be hinged?

French doors opening out will also help with resistance to the weather, that way your seals around the opening are at the back,

    Carpentry Fitted Furniture

It wouldn't be acceptable to me, looks like he fitted a smaller skirting as well as not aligning it properly and I would have fitted an architrave on the junction between the drawers unit and the wall as it'll probably crack there. Though then the worktop would need to have been extended out/to...
