Haha nah its mainly wheelbarrow and heavy green bin but sometimes workmen and window cleaners also. I'm just concerned if they break it it will be a right ballache sorting it out.
Only problem remains carrying all that soil over a distance of 15 meter to the front of the house .Wonder how many wheelbarrow that might be for 50 cubic meter?
To be fair that stuff is very sturdy - it'll protect the cable from wheelbarrows, lawnmower blades, boots etc, and the slots in it are too small to let you jab it with a fork or a rake.
Get pet Tapeworm or three (sorry-four) ??
Fit twin exhaust to Skoderia ... use as handles to push it around ... wheelbarrow fashion ! T'would look right ...
Thanks Stuart. Can I just mix this in a wheelbarrow as don't have mixer. I could mix in Barrow, leave 20 mins, then mix again and then use.
Would that be ok?
Secure. Better to overkill. Most of the old concrete around our old house is a one to one mix. One shovel of cement to one wheelbarrow load of sand/gravel.
right
managed to get concrete in yesterday, 2cu. meters for £210 wheelbarrowed
Levelled it off and now letting it cure.
After how long will it be ok, to get the brickies in, and be able to stand on it?
IIRC, you can exchange cash at the bank.
Although someone walking in with their pantaloons held up with braces, pushing a wheelbarrow - full of purplebacks, might arouse a degree of interest from hmrc:whistle:
I found a company who will do 2cubic metres for £180 + vat but pumping is a lot more, so i will use two wheelbarrows and will be quick so is definitely a cheaper and easier option!
Conceded the speed ..... but chopper goes cross country ... no bends, junctions .. stingers better average speed generally etc with a wheelbarrow full of half bricks could be game over PDQ
It’s actually quite interesting law. The whole reason Cycle TTing came about was because road racing on bicycles was outlawed. TTing exploits a loophole.
But the point is, it’s not the perception of roads being dangerous that gets people riding bikes. It’s seeing bikes as interesting and fun.
...I have met some old timer type builders, who do not bother to gauge materials. One who used 1/2 a bottle of plasticisier for a one wheelbarrow mix. I noticed this because I was wondering how much longer it would last. At least I found out, about 10 minutes!! That wheelbarrowful cost...
OP,
Carry debris down in small, half filled rubble tubs - one in either hand then tip straight into the skip.
And, as above, advertise wood as free firewood.
Dont attempt to use a wheelbarrow.
