Do concrete wagons back onto a residential driveway or is that a no no. It would be nice if they could shoot straight into the footing. We need just under 3.5m3 so i would rather not have to wheelbarrow.
buy a wheelbarrow an hump the gear from the road side or find a firm with a smaller tipper our local yard has big wagons an smaller tippers for smaller loads easy that wasnt hard was it
It was all wooden when i worked out in Saudi complete with a winding ramp going up 5 stories for the little Yemenese labourers to push wheelbarrows up  .....twas a sight to see.
I hand dug mine and took it all out the front through the garage with a wheelbarrow.
They were 3.3m x 9.5m x 1.2m deep in clay.
Wait for some dry weather.
Good fun...
My 2014 Astra came with no spare - just a pot of gunge and a mini compressor- I paid £100 for a good ali (online auction) and £40 for a budget tyre. The gunge will be used in wheelbarrow wheels(y)
you mean in payment for imports? Not a donation of aid, so quite different from the parallel you were trying to create.
are you sure?
by what method is it paid?
Is somebody pushing wheelbarrows of cash across the border?
The solid wheels on these tend to be on the skinny side. If you are moving heavy rocks about in your garden, they may well sink into the grass/soil. Pneumatic tyres may be better for you. How about using a wheelbarrow?
Yes...no problem in putting the work in, i'll calculate what i'll need mix-wise and get a new wheelbarrow but better make sure i don't get one better than hers though :)
Thanks for that
Many thanks. John - probably time for a switch to cordless to save making any more of the many re cabling connections this machine's suffered. Fortunately. I've two Makita batteries for my electric wheelbarrow and chain saw.
Y. have the sack barrow, and the stack of turf has a "home" as well. Cheers for the advice - you're right about wheelbarrow height and I hadn't considered a sack barrow - mine is good with fat pneumatic tyres too....
You don't need a plasticiser for concrete, you should not be putting fairy liquid in with any concrete.
It's about 20 wheelbarrows you'd have to make. 12 with a mixer.
I'd get a mixer with that £90 you are saving.
No stones I don't have a photo but they are about 1foot by 1 foot I could move them into a wheelbarrow and then transfer them into my car.
But my arms are very skinny lol and I like my back :)
Don't know your age or fitness Daz, but a wheelbarrow with 7 blocks in @ 3mins a trip- 20 trips you've moved 2 packs. Do an hour a night & a couple of hours at the weekend & they're gone in a week.
Simple :-)
