    BAXI 400 heat fault

Flow temp set at 70 No bypass valve as far as I can see (photo of piping below). When I turn the controller for heating on, the boiler turns on (audibly and the lights turn on appropriately), then after about 30seconds, you can hear the boiler turn off and the error lights flash as described.

    BAXI 400 heat fault

I have a baxi 400 heat boiler, was working perfectly then suddenly boiler stopped working When I go to the boiler, there are two lights on the front of the panel. The RESET light is solid green, and the "chimney status" light flashes with 1 intermittent green flash every few of seconds. Any one...

    Scantronic lid tamper engineer reset

Thanks - I just did a "1st stage reset", all sorted. Interestingly, when I follow the instructions, I still could not get into "installation mode", and the user code has not changed to default (1234). The default engineering/master code still does not seem to work (07890). So I'm not sure I did...

    Scantronic lid tamper engineer reset

Interesting, well that makes it a lot easier. Am I right in saying that after the 1st stage reset, I also need to perform an engineer reset? Out of interest - how does it retain all the system settings when I have to disconnect all power - both the battery and mains when doing a first stage reset?

    Scantronic lid tamper engineer reset

tried the default engineer code, but that did not work. so no unfortunately i do not. I could do a 1st stage reset (which would reset the engineer code to default factory setting), but would then have to re-install the system entirely i believe.

    Scantronic lid tamper engineer reset

Have a scantronic wired alarm system. Was doing some DIY and unfortunately I made a mistake and undid the screws on the box. Now has a ‘lid tamper’ error displayed on panel. Think it is a 9651 model. Reading online, it looks like this needs an engineer reset?

Replacing a Drayton lp722 with hive controller

Thanks. I’ve gone for the lazy option for now and linked wires 1 & 2 at the wall thermostat, and everything working perfectly. I could probably trace the cable at point of origin with a wire tracer. Where abouts is the wiring centre usually located?

Replacing a Drayton lp722 with hive controller

Haha ok thank you. When you say bridge them, connect them together in terminal 1? Or wire them to each other outside the terminal with some insulating tape? If I wanted to explore less lazy options…how would I do that?

Replacing a Drayton lp722 with hive controller

Also on that same line of thought, I know I need to bridge the switch terminals on the wall mounted thermostat to allow the hive thermostat to work. Wonder if someone call help with the wiring on this thermostat and how I can do this, ideally without tracing it back to wiring source?

Replacing a Drayton lp722 with hive controller

Hi I’m replacing a Drayton LP722 2-channel controller with an old wall mounted analogue thermostat controller, for a hive active v3 controller and wireless thermostat. The wall mount is compatible. Just checking that the wiring in place does not need to be adjusted in any way before I connect...
