    Just make a small hole in the plasterboard on both of the two posts to see whats inside before you go at it full demo mode.. I think they're unlikely to be load-bearing, but probably cables/pipework running up into the loft. Can you get up in the loft and see whats above?

    Its a bit unusual to have a quantity surveyor on a small domestic job, but pretty common to have a structural engineer depending on what work the extension involves. Why don't you block out your name and address and post a picture of the drawing you've had done?

    Probably a lot - you'll have removed the entire of the rear wall of the house at ground floor so would probably need a frame to provide some stability to the back of your house. Also good luck trying to find a 152 x 152 x 44 UC...

    9x2 joists at 450 centres are reasonable for a span that size and under normal loading wouldn't deflect that much. Are there any noggins installed between joists?
