The engineer did not drain down any radiators I have a bedroom with the radiator not in use - so do I need to drain all of the liquid from the rad or half way down. also could this great idea of using a radiator be used permantly as a expansion vessel.

Oh quick reply to Vista slowing my computer down. Answer No - it actually it works faster, my computer has 2G memory P4 (2992 Mhz ) and responds quicker than with the Xp operating system, so Have just bought a Vista disc.

Latest update on my boiler - it is running reasonably fine while in use, but the pressure does drop down if I have the central heating switched off for a few hours. The pressure drops quite low to about 0.7 Bar. I thank you all, for the advice and help
