Thanks for replies. When topped to 1.0 bar when cold then fired up the pressure increases to 3.0 bar, opens the pressure relief valve and trips the system. Can the expansion vessel be repaired, re pressurised or does it have to be replaced? If all else fails i`ll look at replacing pressure...

I have a worcester 240. When in use the pressure is approx 1.5, when boiler shuts down pressure drops to 0 and then pressure increases to 1.5 again when boiler ignites will this cause a problem? how do i cure it. thanks

Followed advice. When hot water turned on fully (sometimes get hot water) CH flow pipe warms up slightly when HW turned off CH flowpipe becomes very hot for about 10 secs. When HW turned on and temp remains tepid or when washing machine calls for hot water CH flowpipe becomes very hot. THANKS...

When starting a wash ,the machine begins then switches to pre wash where it will remain idle untill wash is selected. Has anyone any ideas what is causing this THANKS

I`ve changed the tap washer but still get vibrating noise(more like a light aircraft)when either upstairs or downstairs hot watertaps are turned on. Regarding the thermistor is there another name for it ? There is no mention of it in my manual Black bits have vanished. THANKS

I have a worcester 240 combi situated on upstairs landing.It pumps to 2 large rads downstairs and 4 medium rads upstairs.How do I know or can anyone tell me if it`s powerful enough to pump to another rad above in the loft thanks

I haven`t got felt under the tiles. What is the purpose for the foiled back duplex boards ? Do I still have to insulate between the tiles and the duplex boards or will any insulation be ruined if the roof ever leaked thanx :?:

:) I had the same problem. The diverter valve was the problem, the switch wasn`t engaging and not igniting the burner to warm the water. You can replace the diverter valve or buy adiverter valve kit. Hope this solves your problem

i want to board out my loft to be used as storage and a computor room. i`ve been told i need to strengthen the existing joists by "cross nogging" them. what is this and is it necessary? thanks
