It couldn't still be the bdr-91 not feeding a 'on' signal to the boiler? I will change the rad thermostats to the normal ones then and see if this changes anything, otherwise I will need an engineer then! This did the same thing when I first fitted the thermostat, cycling through 5, 3 and 1...
