    Hi, Can any one give me advice on if my beam (see photos below) will support the punch bags when I hit them (I normally train about 5 to 6 times a week). I am planning to put a 6ft muay thai bag, a 4ft heavy punch bag and a speed ball onto the beam. Is this not going to be good? A guy...

    I already have the plasterboards so i expect I will have to buy this vapour membrane. Any idea where I can get it? Is it the same is the DPM which I put in the foundations?

    Thanks, I will do this. Do I still need the vapour check membrane after I do this. I read somewhere that it traps moisture (when used in the attic!) Cheers

    Thanks, ^woody^ I appreciate your constructive advice. It looks as though you know what you are talking about. What options do I have for ventilation? Do you mean to the outside? I only allowed for 200mm insulation but will go buy some more tomorrow. So the more insulation the better...

    I bought the space blankets before starting this post... Also, which 'word' was i supposed to take in as i dont think anybody told me not to put in insulation (unless i missed it). PS: is space blanket not insulation? It doesnt matter, I can use this in the loft and buy some of that normal...

    I havent used it as its not really a parrafin heater, its a canister i used it to torch on the felt roof, (but also used it to keep the room warm whilst working - which i now realise was a mistake!!!
