    Soil stack leaking

Had a roofer around and he pushed the rubber bit back on like you all said . I checked in the loft last time it was heavily raining and I still have a slight drip running down the outside of the soil pipe. Do I need a new rubber bit ? Or should I attack it with silicone?

Safe zone ? Are water pipes and electric wires supposed to be deeper than 50mm ? I've been told by a joiner at work to only screw where the nails are maybe 5mm away .Is this sensible advice ?
