    Fair enough, we always have a job getting RSC in decent sizes easily, PFC seems to be the norm. Just a thought about PFC, might save a little hassle on gathering materials.

    Usually dont get cut from the bottom flange to the top at 45, usually a bit left verticle from the bottom flange, about half way up the web then across at the right angle to suit the roof pitch. Getting the padstone height and the bearing right is key to not having to cut the beam. 254...

    They are the lower budget models from both makers, much of a muchness really. Neither a bad drill though. Id check the battery specs, make the choice based upon that.

    Have you tried approaching a local firm that build/clads industrial/commercial buildings? See if they have some surplus sheets or panel offcuts. Thrown loads of offcuts of similar stuff away in the past.

    Rotabroach make a set with 5/6 sizes, think about 8 -20mm in a little case. do a google for 'rotabroach mini cutters' Make sure you are sat down when you look at the price mind!

    Not really, would destroy the thread and shape of the screw. What size screw is it, if its only small ones, electrical crimpers can shear them.

    They are nozzle cleaners, for oxy fuel welding/cutting. Just about every welding supplier sell them, a couple of quid a set. Ebay is good for stuff like that, probably easier than going into a welding suplies shop :lol:
