    I wouldnt worry about a dead blow, your obviously on a budget, so a hammer and block of wood will suffice. I would be looking at replacing pads/discs both sides, otherwise you may end up with a problem come MOT time.

    Dont use them often, but i have had much more sucess with Tomtom.... Garmins seem to zoom out and stop talking to you when you most need it :roll:

    Id expect £50 would get you everything you need for a day Local hire firms often a bit cheaper than the big ones. If not, HSS usually pretty helpfull :D

    Yup, the knurled collar is a depth stop, to prevent the screw head tearing through the paper. Screw or unscrew to put it in deeper or shallower.

    Have a look at the Axminster powertools website, they have a good range of sharpening systems, from very cheap wetstone setups for just over £40, or wide wheel bench grinders for £30 8)

    Try a fabrication company if theres any local to you, theyll probably have loads of offcuts kicking about :wink: Its only bog standard steel tube, depending on what size fittings you choose scaffold pipe will do the job.
