    Bedroom door key side

You will only see the heads of the sleeve nuts and bolts, same as with the existing screws.

    Bedroom door key side

I think a picture is in order here. Without knowing exactly what you're asking, how about sleeve nuts and bolts through the door? No need to fix into the timber then [as such].

    Smell removal (bitumen) from teak

I'm no chemist, but what smells will be the volatiles and they're more likely to be driven off by gentle heating.

How is water getting in my shed ?

Perhaps it's both. IMG_20260208_174542.jpg - what's that vertical face below the T&G but above the flag? Whatever it is is damp enough for algae to grow on it. It is either the bottom of your shed, or in contact with it, and it looks damp. IMG_20260208_174758_edit_859851493546919.jpg - the...

    Controlling multiple electric heaters centrally

What do you actually want at the end of this and what are you willing to compromise on? You seem confident that the sensible suggestions [ie, excluding the ones that come from people who don't understand the practicalities of leasehold living] won't give you a reasonable EPC. So are you happy...

Help with shed foundations in waterlogged ground

If you're building a timber frame anyway then I think pads/piers makes more sense. Less material required, air flow under your frame and you don't have to worry so much about how wet the ground is in the area.

    Mould prevention on Ply

Might sound like a daft question, but do you have the fan on in the van? One person I know keeps the fan off, waits for the windows to steam up, turns the fan up to max, turns it off, waits for the windows to steam up, ...

How is water getting in my shed ?

Even if that's true, the flags are damp enough for long enough that you've got algae growing on them. Get the shed raised up, out of the moisture and let air flow around the bottom.

Supplier want's to deliver saturated shed, should that be acceptable ?

If that's a permeable membrane the base will absorb moisture from the soil, and then rot. If it's a non-permeable membrane, you want to make sure there's not a way for rain to get on top of the membrane as your bearers will be sat in puddles that take a long time go to away, and then rot.

    Mould prevention on Ply

Timber doesn't just go mouldy without a reason. Either it was already wet, or there is a source of moisture keeping it wet. Perhaps it has never completely dried out? Try drying it out completely, then put it back in the van and see what happens.

Supplier want's to deliver saturated shed, should that be acceptable ?

It's not going to take months to dry inside your garage. You could point a fan at it if you want to speed up the drying process.

    Microwave clearances

Run it for 20m and see how warm it gets above. I think 30mm is more reasonable than 30cm!

    Standing desk table top

I've got an 18mm Formica board on mine, plenty of strength for a 32" monitor, laptop, laptop stand, etc. Barely deflects when I push on it [supports are a metre apart]. Surface is easy to keep clean.

    Electric boiler?

You do not misunderstand. I am on a variable-rate tariff. The point I am getting at is that if you can break-even with a reasonable COP at an expensive time of year then you could conceivably come out ahead across the year.

    Electric boiler?

For me today, gas is 5.89p/kWhr and electricity averages 24.68p/kWhr. Back of the envelope, you would need an ASHP install with a COP of about 3.6 to match the fuel costs of an 85% efficient gas combi boiler. That's not obviously crazy, and this is the most expensive time of the year for...

    Oil radiator down

Because it uses less power [say 50W instead of 2kW]. The end goal is to improve comfort rather than raise the temperature of the building. As such, sitting on it when it's on means I run the central heating a lot less. It's called a blanket but it's designed to go under a sheet. I am not sure...

    Oil radiator down

Have you considered sitting on a heated blanket? Much cheaper to run.

    Replacement Tumble Dryer

If they use 10x the power they would have to be more than 10x quicker to be cheaper. And if you're venting all the heat outdoors then that's a wasted opportunity, to say the least. I use Wayner's approach, dehumidifier pointed at washing rack. Yeah, takes ages.
