    Worried about weeping

    Turn the water off overnight and leave it off if your out in the day. Better to be safe than sorry! Call them back as a matter of urgency tellling them that you have no water. Insist they effect a proper repair expressing your concerns about the floorboards. :D

    How do you light a C&M Corvec Miniflame 11 Boiler please

    I've come across two of these in my travels. One I condemned because it was leaking gas and I was told you couldn't get parts and the second one I replaced with a modern boiler cos the pilot would go out evry couple of days despite my best cleaning efforts. Replace asap!

    Leaking Shower Unit - Help!

    Make sure that the chrome plating has been removed on the first inch of the pipe i.e. the part of the pipe that goes into the shower.
