Ooh I tell a lie! There are 3 light switches in the kitchen that control the main light, and two of them the light works fine! Must have a dodgy connection on the other light switch, will check it!

@flameport Done this, it turns on then flickers and turns off again. Will check for loose wire connection

Hey folks, I have taken off the old kitchen light, and took a photo of the cabling (attached). As well as a picture of all the cabling hanging down. The new led batten light just has a blue and brown. I've connected the blue to the single black wire I've connected the brown to the group(4)...

Yeah I was replacing a busted siphon (wouldn't flush without pushing the handle loads) so thought I'd change the fill valve at the same time as that was an old style ball float one. Thomas Dudley do a "edge" siphon which is a lot slimmer I could try that...

I think close coupled?

It's height adjustable but it still touches the base of the fill valve due to it's width. Need to find a super narrow one @terryplumb which flush valve would you recommend in this case

Hey folks, trying to fit a Thomas Dudley dual siphon to the downstairs toilet however, having tried to fit it, I can't get it to sit flush as it's hitting the inlet valve. Is it the fact I've bought the wrong siphon for this particular cistern? I had hoped I hadn't but I can't see any other...
