Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

Just want to drop a huge thank you to @terryplumb who helped me in PMs to solve my issue. An absolutely wonderful person! I now have a 40mm rigid pipe waste solution thanks to @terryplumb

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

I tried tapping inward but it was still not breaking the bond. And the angle under the bath was too awkward to get any force behind a flathead screwdriver tapping inward. Here's a picture I took with measurements...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

I think I've given up! The fitting coming out of the wall feels/looks like a coupler. I've made a channel on the male pipe, but when I'm trying to remove this small section of pipe inside, it looks like it's pulling at the outside fitting and I can't get any purchase between them...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

Thanks @drives @terryplumb actually talked me through what to do, so got a jabsaw and going to try to gently saw the male pipe out. If that doesn't work, then yes it is accessible from below, but would that help as this pipe is surrounded by tile?? I think if my attempt at sawing out the male...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

Managed to get down to this, but I imagine you're going to say that's not enough. I tried getting to the pipe going in to the wall, but it's welded together far too well. Any connections I can make to fit this? Any other options I have? The replacement 32mm flexi pipe end is a couple of...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

Thanks @terryplumb So my plan is to take it all apart without causing any damage. Then connect this bath trap to the bath waste, connected to a 135° bend, with a flexible connector leading to the pipe coming out of the wall. Does the above seem ok? We're doing house renovations in a few...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

This wall joins the family bathroom with the ensuite, so assume it joins up to an internal soil stack. Here's the best pictures I could get from where the waste goes... We have a vanity unit on the bathroom on the other side, and here's a picture behind the unit where some of the waste...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

What's the best approach to replacing the wall end section? Found this rigid trap which should work, but what pipe should I connect to the wall end? And what's the best way to remove/cut the wall end?

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

It's the first ring down. So where you mentioned the cobweb, the top inner flex part where the cobweb starts, there is a faint black horizontal line - that's where it's cracked. It's small.

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

It's definitely leaking and not the cobweb, had to use three towels used to clean it up. The crack is horizontal across on of the internal flexes, and I've pushed it back together to avoid any more water leaking through in the meantime, it may not be completely visible in the picture.

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

In the first picture in my first post, the crack is in the flex part of the pipe, just underneath where it screws on to the bathtub waste.

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

Thanks - I'm assuming this is outside the realms of a DIYer?

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

It has been very slowly to drain waste water away, despite trying all the tricks to unclog. Isn't the access too small for rigid pipework? Let me see if I can get any more pictures closer... managed to get a video, there is some give, hesitant to move it anymore. Have had to post it on imgur...

Flexi waste pipe under suspended bathtub

Hello, me again! Another day another problem! I noticed some discolouring to the grout in the bathroom tiles but wasn't sure if I was imagining this. But after using the bath, I looked underneath and noticed a leak from the flexi waste pipe, it looks like it's cracked open and has a leak...

Septic > Mains work done, servicing question - float switch?

Thank you so much, really useful. Will be looking at alternatives after the next service after checking the warranty, asking what I need to know etc.

Septic > Mains work done, servicing question - float switch?

Thanks all - attached is a picture of the box with the the controls. No idea what any of it does! Blocked out the installer's names just in case.

Septic > Mains work done, servicing question - float switch?

I asked which ones they use, and the response was: "They are integrally weighted control float switch with neoprene cabling". Not sure what the set up is, and there doesn't seem to be much information that I can understand online regarding these pumps. Next time they come in to service it...

Septic > Mains work done, servicing question - float switch?

Hi all Had some great help on here so far, so thanks in advance for reading. We moved in to a new house earlier this year and the previous owners have switched from septic tank to mains. However, the house goes against gravity and a tank and pump have been installed over the grassy section...
