    thank you very much for your useful reply!! Is this something that can be easily rectified?? The roof angle slopes approx 20degrees and the bottom end is roughly 8-10 inches lower that the top. I did question whether it was the flashing and pointed out that it should have maybe been fitted...

    Your all really helpful lovely people on here aren't you? I haven't applied anything yet, I was hoping someone would offer me some useful advice on how much of an area would be needed or advise me that maybe £2k for cavity trays was way off the mark and i was looking at a lot less...
