Slab out side door looks high , also does appear to be cement infill back to wall which suggests it was installed with a space which would have prevented rain running back to air against wall , exterior matt also keeps area wet .
No problem to remove as it’s 6 individual panels , so you can remove just one or all.
I left spares under the bath just in case but need to access is very rare .
I used a hot glue gun on a previous property , very coarse pebble on top of existing dashing made mechanical fixing impossible .
(Needs to be a decent high flow rate gun as used by carpet fitters)
Suspect you have not applied a seal and where they have not been laid with adequate buttering of rear a void show as stains , though nothing to worry about .
Finish against grass is less than ideal .
