Allen key head had sheared in pump head bolt!!

Since 1997 I have replaced PCB. X2 PRV. £7 each X1 fan. £40 All super cheap amd PCB I broke tbh. £60 So not bad for £350 (cost of boiler). No diverter valve. Separate heat exchangers for CH/HW. Now the others like the Domi Condens I agree totally. Absolute rubbish

Allen key head had sheared in pump head bolt!!

I don’t think I’d get pair them in there tbh mate. Even if I did the amount of force applied compared tye Allen would be much less. I use Plus Gas for stuck bolts. WD40 is way to thick. Cheers

    Can not find a 76mm / 44mm deadlock?

It is an odd size. 3” high and keyhole is set back 44mm. I tried Screwfix. Toolstation and both local building merchants amd no joy. I have put on a standard night latch it for now but find it odd that there is no replacement for this size? My local BM stated it was discontinued and that I...

    Can not find a 76mm / 44mm deadlock?

Hi Just removed a deadlock from a fire door and it’s an unusual size? The case/depth is 76mm/3” but the backset is 44mm. The only locks I am finding with 44mm backset are 64mm/2 1//2” ? Anyone advise please. Thanks

Advice -UPVC door handle/spindle 7mm - to small??

Hi all I recently purchased a new handle as old one was old and the 7mm spindle was spinning/slipping in the door mechanism. You could actually see through the spindle hole in mech where it had rounded off. I then put in a spare 8mm as these I have only seen on the past and it worked fine...

    Quick question Thumbturn euro cylinder?

That’s my thinking. Safety both sides. I’ve had to remove door stop and grind deadlock of from the front entrance/ wooden door. Knightlatch was usual simple. The thumb euro was fitted under a grant scheme years ago. It does not need one with regards regs but it’s a better option to gain...

    Quick question Thumbturn euro cylinder?

Just in my mates and talking about. He pulled thumb turn out of the draw and it rotates both sides with key inserted. It was one of the brands with a letter Q on it. Seem loads of them about. Surely they all do as it’s reversing the safety aspect to outside as u can not gain entry.

    Quick question Thumbturn euro cylinder?

There might be 2 types then? It’s a standard 100mm (50/50) ams I have lost the key. Tried about 20 spare keys in it and no joy. Don’t mind if I have to swap it for a standard cylinder tbh. I just need one I can open from other side with key inserted in opposite. Cheers

    Quick question Thumbturn euro cylinder?

Hi all Somehow I have managed to lose keys to a thumbturn euro cylinder lock. Can these always be opened from the the outside when locked inside? As I know most standard euro cylinders do not let you open from one side if key is inserted on the the other side. I have just tried it with...

Hi All Git a fairly old UPVC door here but I can not see any way to adjust it? The opposite side from hinges has dropped. These are what are fitted? Looks like pins in them vertically but I can see a bit of thread protruding but no idea how to access them plus even wound all the way I don’t...

Intellisense Securit 800 keypad advice sought.

Suss what? Like I stated it’s very basic yet the info provided above to set a new code does not work. I did to reset the NVM though. As I stated 1234*91 does not enter mode to enter new pin. LEDs 1-4 do not illuminate. I work on much more complex things than alarms mate. Cheers
