Hi I have fitted an alternator from a Renault 5 onto my mini digger .The alternator is a Valeo type A13, it has two threaded terminal posts and a two wire block. Does anyone know how to wire it up ? The main charge wire is obvious but how do i connect the warning light ?

If it's the type which has a soft rubber gasket then it will usually not leak but if it's one of the older hard washer type you will need sealant - i often use clear silicone . hope that helps
