Just moved house. Not really done any plumbing before but think this repair should not be beyond me. What would be the easiest way to repair. Would it be cement fit or push fit?

Yeah, Spot on. That was the bit I was unsure about. Think I went for 1/2 inch but the connecting thread seems to be 1”. I think the other part will work so the lamp holder was just contingency really. It was quite inexpensive. I’ll have a look at Lilley and contact you if I have trouble.

Hello, I have an old traditional light with a flickering bulb. I think the spring has gone in the electrical connector part of the bayonet fitting. Finding it difficult to source a spare part. Can anyone help me? Photos below. Thanks in advance, Matthew
